EQU StreamZ ® magnetic horse bands introduce a new technique in magnetism – ‘360º resonance technology’ – Advanced magnetism for your horse.
EQU StreamZ magnetism does not pulse, it spins! This unique process prevents an increase in temperature allowing the bands to be worn by the horse immediately after exercise and for long periods of time, including through turnout and 24/7. Ideal to be used pre and post exercise and whilst travelling.
Ideal as complementary option when treating a horse diagnosed with joint conditions, lameness, windgalls, ringbone, laminitis, navicular, kissing spine and much more!
The neoprene design fits snuggly around the horses front or back legs (for full-body coverage) and are recommended to be worn for a minimum of 8hrs per day, ideally when resting. The longer times they wear the bands the better effects.

Using EQU StreamZ on a horse with a heart condition
Seek medical advice before using StreamZ Technology on a horse fitted with a pacemaker, or a previously diagnosed heart condition.
Using EQU StreamZ on a horse with sensitive skin
Some animals, particularly greys (white haired horses) or horses with allergic contact dermatitis, may find the neoprene too sensitive to place against the skin. If you notice any discomfort or discolouration on the skin within the first 1 to 24 hours then remove the bands. If problems persist then the neoprene bands should be removed completely. This article on how best to apply tape may be on interest.
Note: Tape can can applied to the horse's legs prior to fitting the bands, avoiding direct contact with the skin. Follow the advise HERE if you wish to do this.
The StreamZ strips can also be removed from the sleeves and wrapped around the horses leg within a bandage/vet wrap - avoiding the use of neoprene entirely.
Using EQU StreamZ on a horse with PPDID/Cushings
If your horse has been previously diagnosed with severe Cushings then you may want to speak with a vet prior to use.
StreamZ are a complementary device and should never replace prescribed medications or treatments. As with prescribed medications, StreamZ does not offer any guarantees for the intended purpose of use.
Each horse is advised to wear two EQU StreamZ bands (one pair) just above or below the fetlock area, on any two front or hind legs.
Ensure the horses legs are clean before fitting the bands.
If using in soft ground, or on sensitive skinned horses, a few layers of equine tape can be applied around the leg prior to fitting the bands. This can also be beneficial when using the bands in stables using bed shavings.
Make sure at all times that the bands are fitted evenly ensuring that the Velcro fastening hooks cannot touch the horses skin.
The bands should be removed for riding.
Wrap around the leg ensuring they are tight enough to not spin around the leg. Around one fingers width between the horse and the bands will be about right.
The technology is designed to be worn for a minimum of 8 hours a day although results have been reported as significantly greater when used 24x7.
Where and when to wear EQU StreamZ bands
ABOVE Fetlock (around the cannon bone) – use when turned out in soft ground conditions or whilst in light work.
BELOW Fetlock (around the pastern) – use below fetlock when turned in or on box rest. (Slightly better reaction when placed below, but movement is found below the fetlock)
If the ground is soft enough to allow the bands to be partially or fully submerged then the bands should be removed. Tape can be used below or above the bands if you do wish to use the product in very muddy weather.
In wet/muddy conditions it is advised to remove the bands completely if the bands will become submerged in use.
The bands can be placed on any two legs; providing 'full-body coverage'.
Care and attention and 'a level of common-sense' is required for the bands to last; as with any other tack product.
What to do about damaged or lost bands
Lost bands are not covered under warranty and single bands are not available for purchase.
Please note that most horses have the ability to remove the bands. They may have no history in removing tack in the past, but there is a first time for everything. If bands are found damaged or on the floor it is highly likely they have been removed. Our team will be able to advise.
'Turnout strips' are available for a small fee, these are small 10cm badges which fit over the fastening tongue of our horse bands. These are glow-in-the-dark neon yellow and have been developed to strengthen the fastening of the bands and allow them to be found easier if they are removed. Ideal for 'chewers' or horses turned out for long periods of time.
Remove EQU StreamZ when riding
The bands should be removed when riding. There is slight movement within the area the bands are placed which can lead to rubbing or the bands falling off.
Using the bands 24x7
StreamZ advertise the EQU bands as “24x7 use”. This refers to the technology being able to be worn all day every day, and particularly when the horse is ‘in recovery’. This does not stipulate that bands can be worn 24x7 in all weather conditions, particularly in extremely muddy conditions where the bands may become submerged. Common sense is require for when the horse can and cannot wear the bands.
How often do you need to replace EQU StreamZ bands?
We recommend updating the bands with new versions every 3 to 4 years. This is because we are constantly updating the technology as new materials and technologies become available. The existing design is roughly 10% stronger in energy than the original invented technology due to updates in the material used within StreamZ silicone.
Cleaning the bands
The material has a life span as with any aesthetic product such as shoes or clothing; it requires care and attention to last 12 months or more, particularly the fastening. To keep the bands as long as possible it is advised that they are washed as often as possible using only cold water and soap only.
Simply remove the StreamZ silicone strips from the open end of the bands (the end next to fastening tongue) and wash by hand or in a machine on a cold hand washing setting and place the strips somewhere safe. Hand/pat dry and slide the StreamZ strips back into the bands, with the ridges/lines on the StreamZ strip facing away from the skin (smooth side facing the skin).
Avoid using warm/hot water at all times as this can damage the hooks on the fastening material.
Pay attention to the open-stitched end of each band. This open stitch allows the removal of the StreamZ magnetic strips for when the user wishes to wash the bands or update the sleeves. Once on a horse the Magnetic strips are unable to be removed as the strips wrap around the horses leg. If Streamz strips are misplaced then this is entirely out of the control of StreamZ.
Storing the bands (when not in use)
To ensure the long-term effectiveness of your StreamZ technology, avoid placing StreamZ products directly against traditional magnetic devices. Direct contact with standard magnets can interfere with and potentially damage the unique StreamZ polarisation process, making the technology less effective.
StreamZ products can safely be used alongside other magnetic or therapeutic devices, but they should be stored separately when not in use to maintain optimal performance and product longevity.
Maintaining the EQU StreamZ bands
The fastening within the EQU StreamZ requires a level of maintenance and care.
Warranty is available on defects with the fastening. We have had issues in the past with the material used and updated the material to the strongest on the market to rectify this issue.
Proof of purchase will be required for warranty defects, damaged or lost bands are not covered under warranty.

Where should EQU StreamZ be worn on my horse?
EQU StreamZ horse bands are bands which can be worn on any two fetlocks (front legs) or the hocks, hind legs (back legs.) They should be wrapped around the pastern or cannon bone, just below or above the fetlock (fronts or hinds). They provide full-body coverage.
Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ through turnout?
Yes, the bands can be worn 24x7 and through most weather conditions. If turned out or on soft ground we advise the bands are fitted above the fetlock to avoid them being submerged or damaged.
Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ through box rest or in the stable?
Yes. The horse bands are developed of long term 24x7 use and are suitable inside a stable or on box rest. Place around pastern or cannon bone, on either front or back legs.
Due to varying weather conditions it is not always possible to wear them below the joint. It also depends on the weather/ground condition as to whether they are placed above or below.
Can my horse wear EQU StreamZ bands overnight?
Yes. EQU StreamZ bands are designed for continuous wear, including overnight and during turnout, for maximum effectiveness. They should be worn for a minimum of 8hrs per day.
What weather conditions can EQU StreamZ bands be used in?
EQU StreamZ bands are suitable for use in all weather conditions. This includes hot weather, snow, rain and everything in between.
As with any tack, it is important that the products are never submerged in mud. If the ground is wet/soft and has the potential to submerge the product the bands should either be placed above the fetlock (and out of the mud) or removed completely.
Can I use EQU StreamZ bands while riding my horse?
No we advise that you remove the bands whilst riding; the bands may move around on the leg slightly causing discomfort. The bands can be worn during light exercise and schooling, but they are primarily designed for use when the horse is at rest, in rehabilitation (box rest) or turned out.
Are EQU StreamZ bands safe for all horses?
Yes, EQU StreamZ bands are safe for all horse breeds, ages, and disciplines. This includes pregnant mares. Consult your veterinarian if you are not comfortable with using StreamZ on your horse for any reason.
Can EQU StreamZ bands be used on foals or young horses?
Yes, they are safe for young horses and in fact our product for cows, MOO StreamZ, are widely used on calves who have been injured in or just after birth. It is advised to monitor the use of the bands when first used on young horses as they have notoriously sensitive skin. If they have white hair or appear to have thinner/more sensitive skin than the average young horse then you can wrap a few layers of vet rap around the leg first - avoiding direct contact between the skin and the bands.

My cob is 21 year old and has always had windgalls on his hind legs and then his hind legs became very puffy and lumpy, but he wasn't lame. I thought I'd try some magnets and found these Equ StreamZ which sounded a bit different from the rest. I put the pair on his hind legs above the fetlock joint and the next morning the swellings had gone down dramatically. The windgalls are still there, but not so large and the lumpiness has gone completely within a couple of days. He doesn't notice they are on his legs. I swap them from front to back every 24 hours. They are very easy to put on and they stay on perfectly. I have washed them a couple of times and they are standing up to being used outside 24 hours a day so far and the velcro seems to be tough enough to last. I am really pleased with the results, they do seem to work !
I tried StreamZ after hearing about it on the "Shut Up and Ride" podcast, and ended up getting bands for my horse, my dogs, and myself.
My mare has arthritis, which I manage with the usual combination: strength training, supplements, and injections. We've only had the bands about a month, but I've already seen a real difference in how she warms up. She's noticeably less stiff behind than before, and she normally stocks up overnight out in the field. That hasn't happened since she started wearing the bands.
For me, I deal with the lower back pain most riders know well. Since using the bands, I'm no longer waking up with it, and I can't think of anything else that's changed.
Finally, I have two senior French Bulldogs. One has spinal and hip degeneration, which is common for the breed and only progresses with age, so at this point my goal is simply keeping her as happy and comfortable as possible. Since she started wearing her StreamZ collar, she's noticeably more mobile and comfortable getting around.
I'm clearly a satisfied customer, which is why I took the time to write this. I already know what the family's getting for the holidays!!!
My physio recommended these but particularly this brand as there are many on the market. My boy wears them 24/7 on his front legs only taking them off during exercise. They stay in place and are amazingly secure. I have definitely seen an improvement in his knee movement. Would highly recommend.

I put the on my ankles they are totally awesome takes the soreness out of my ankles and legs have used them for 10 years now!
Had a horse walking on 3 legs! Used the bands for a week and couldn’t believe recovery! So impressed we bought them for ourselves (wrist and leg) and neither of us has woken with an aching back. Some say it’s just a placebo but I don’t care what it is as it’s working. Sharing them with our other horses so they all benefit.
I'm using these on my horse who is on box rest and recovering from Laminitis. Postage was really quick and when I asked customer services for some advice they were really quick to respond and super helpful. Whether they are actually helping I have no idea but they certainly aren't hurting in any way. Nicely made product with great after sales support, I have absolutely no complaints. B

We do find this feedback frustrating. While we completely understand that you chose to remove the product when your horse reacted this way, the reaction described is specific to your individual horse and is not indicative of an issue with the product itself. Did you go for the sensitive-sleeve option as it sounds like that would have been helpful to the horse?
Horses can react very differently to the same product, and unfortunately not every product will suit every horse. The fact that your horse was trying to remove them does not mean that the product is faulty or ineffective; it simply means that, in this instance, your horse did not tolerate them.
If the same product were put on another horse that was perfectly happy wearing it, would the product still warrant a 1-star review? We feel it’s important to distinguish between an individual horse not accepting a product and there actually being something wrong with the product itself.
We would, of course, never suggest continuing to use a product if a horse is becoming distressed, but we do feel it is important to make that distinction clear for others reading this review.

I bought the streamz equine bands for my stockhorse gelding whom had been X-rayed with no findings but wasn’t right in his gait, and thought why no give them a go had read the info and had also seen them worn on a pony that I knew had , had issues but has been going great lately , well I now have my horse back his shuffly gait has now gone and he is pushing you out of the saddle again instead of having to work hard to keep him going. Purchase bands for 2 of our older horses. They wear them 24/7 and too soon to see result as yet. The science behind them has me feeling positive though.
The StreamZ bands have helped my horse recover from an injury that affected one diagonal pair, they were the 24 hour support for the physio sessions which brought him back to work quicker than predicted. He wears them all the time unless I am riding and I have noticed that he doesn't feel tight after a lesson where he is asked to do new work.

I can't rate these highly enough. I've had these for 2 months now.
Unbelievable is they actually work. In March this year my 9yo was on 4 Bute a day. When I bought these we were finally stable on 2 and thinking this would be lifelong and at least this was a reasonably safe. 2 months of using these and he is down to half a Bute daily and the best the vet has ever seen, even when compared to pre fracture.
I have now tried them on my 7yo who has a fear of his legs being touched. Because they are so small and lightweight they have been a fantastic introduction to something around his legs and he's accepted it with amazing ease.
My 9yo has managed to remove one once. (I did initially use them with turnout straps but he removed these everyday so stopped after a few days). The band's on there own seems to stay put though on both horses.
I invested in the bands because I wanted to feel like I was doing something to help my horse through the incredibly hard summer ground. He has a mild shiver, which becomes much more obvious when the ground gets hard. He’s a big 17hh maxi cob who absolutely hates the month of August!
Within just 7 days, I’ve noticed a huge change. He’s much happier in the field, he’s no longer walking around with his nose on the ground, and the shiver has disappeared.
And I caught him being stupid and cantering around again 🤦♀️ I haven’t seen him do that for a few months.
He's had them on 24/7 except when riding.
I honestly didn’t expect to notice such a difference so quickly, but I’m absolutely delighted with how much happier he seems.
My mare was diagnosed with tendon injury.
So I bought them to help with recovery.
Which 4 weeks later she is doing well .
I’ve only had these a couple of weeks and as it’s summer my horse is in less. They seem to have helped reduce the swelling in his front legs but I think the best test will be over winter. So far so good.
Repeat purchase, on my 3rd pair. Highly recommend.
Bought the tabs this time for extra security but one came off after 3 days use and annoyingly never found it.
Equ streamz were recommended to me and Ill admit I was a bit skeptical but they have really helped. Very pleased.
Unfortunately haven’t noticed any difference at all for the windgall my horse developed and also a bump on his front leg. Pity.

Please bare with them; windgalls are notoriously stubborn so expectations for when they should reduce are based on our study - https://www.streamz-global.com/pages/studies-trials - which we believe is the most extensive study carried out on live animals for windgalls. You will see that some took several weeks.

Brilliant bands this is the third pair I’ve brought . They have made a great difference to both my horses . Would definitely recommend.
Started using these on my 22 year old kWPN 2 weeks ago as he has arthritic changes in his feet, we also changed his diet and so far so good, back to riding him, seems to have no pain and enjoying his work
I have used the bands after my pony had laminitis, it’s hard to say if they have made or are making any difference but they are easy to put in and the pony is happy to keep them on which is something of a feat in itself
